 Darlene has been practicing real estate since 1974.
Her experiences over the last 33 years have
encompassed all facets of the business of real
estate in every type of market. Darlene has reached
high levels of success as an owner of a real estate
agency with more than 30 agents (1978-1991); real
estate developer and licensed contractor
(1991-1995);Real Estate investment and sales (1995 –
present) and in the sales of bed and breakfasts
(2000-present). Darlene has an impressive record of
properties sold for over $1,000,000 in St.
Augustine.
Darlene has found her “passion” working with the
owners and purchasers of exceptional properties. She
finds joy in helping people meet their goals, both
financial and emotional. |

Kristen Garretson White
Broker Associate
Kristen has a degree in real estate from Florida
Atlantic University and has had her real estate
license since 1996. As a broker in Michigan, (1996 –
2002) Kristen specialized in luxury waterfront and
golf course properties from $500,000 to over $3
million. Through this experience, Kristen honed her
skills in catering to a high-end clientele. In
Florida, her home state, Kristen earned her broker’s
license in 2002 and joined Darlene in 2005.
Kristen’s specialties are in marketing, staging and
financial analysis. Her skills complement Darlene’s
and together they make Distinctive Properties of
Saint Augustine a complete package. Kristen also
owns a successful restaurant in Saint Augustine’s
historic district. She has a keen insight into
owning a small business in Saint Augustine along
with its rewards and challenges. |
